Labor safety is a constantly evolving field. Established standards and norms are constantly being changed or updated to create a safe working environment for employees. Echesi Group has kept up with the latest news.
1. From January 1, 2023, the minimum hourly wages of doctors and nurses have been established:
The minimum salary of doctors is 7 GEL per hour;
Nurses were defined as 4.4 GEL per hour .
As a result of the reform, all clinics involved in the universal healthcare program with an inpatient component will be obliged to determine the salary of doctors and nurses, taking into account the minimum threshold presented by the Ministry of Health.
The Labor Inspection Service will have the authority to carry out full inspections in medical facilities, both regarding the enforcement of labor rights and issues related to minimum wages for doctors and nurses.

2. Technical regulations on the minimum requirements related to safety and health protection when using personal protective equipment in the workplace .
The regulation has been adopted within the framework of the obligations assumed by the association agreement and will come into effect on March 1, 2023.
